Inverters are extremely suitable for power supply of critical consumers with single-phase or three-phase connection. The robust inverters delivered by MGEC are especially used in communication facilities, but also for special applications and under extreme environmental conditions, e.g. on off- shore platforms.
Under the aspect of the worldwide strongly increasing energy requirements at limited natural resources, MGEC delivers the most developed of energy efficient power supply systems. The increase of the efficiency of our systems and the involved reduction of power loss is one of the main tasks.
- INVERTERS AS EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY. The power supply of the inverter is ensured via 110 V or 220 V battery. The power supply is also possible via rectifier. The consumers can be supplied optionally by DC source primarily or by bypass- supply. The priority grid is freely selectable by customer.
- PULSE WIDTH MODULATED IGBT INVERTER A pulse width modulated IGBT inverter, a static as well as manual bypass and a self-diagnosis system are significant parts of HPI system. All for the functioning important messages are clearly visualised on the front door via LCD display. The static bypass ensures automatic change to the grid in the event of an inverter failure or overload. During maintenance or repair the device can be bridged via manual bypass in order to continue the supply of the consumers. The transfer to manual or static bypass and back is ensured by rapid switching thyristors; an isolation transformer is located in the output of the inverter. The integrated self-diagnosis system guarantees high reliability and easy servicing. Via special (optional) software it is possible to execute a remote diagnosis, if needed.
- COMFORTABLE OPERATION The operating panel of the HPI systems allow simple operation. The menu-driven program guides smoothly to all display and operation functions of the system. Via a comfortable text display all measurement values, alerts and status messages are indicated. LED displays ensure that the status of the inverter can be assessed at a glance.
Inverters of the type JSP are designed for input voltages of 24 V and 48 V with an accepted tolerance of voltage fluctuations of -18% up to +25%. The systems of the type JSP generate a sinusoidal output voltage with low harmonic distortion and provide a high short circuit current. Due to pulsed technology lower construction volume and high efficiency are achieved. Additionally the recovery control of sudden load variations improves by means of high pulse frequency.
INVERTERS AS EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY. Should inverters of the type series JSP be combined with batteries, they are extremely suitable for emergency power supply of sensitive AC consumers in power plants, sewage treatment plants, production sites and the like.
DIFFERENT VERSIONS Systems of the inverter series JSP are available in three versions: as open building panel in IP00, as 19-inch slots or mounted in a control cabi- net; special versions for shipbuilding, mining, the armed forces, railway engineering and more are available optio- nally on request.
PLAIN TEXT DISPLAY / DISPLAY Multiple monitoring devices and indicating elements inform the user constantly about the current status of the device. The devices are equipped with a microcomputer- controlled monitoring and control system with LCD dot matrix display 2×16 characters / plain text display. A potential-free signal contact serves to alert accumulated fault signals. A DC input filter with charge control is availa- ble. Additionally these inverters can be supplied optionally with electronic changeover device or with electromechani- cal changeover device.
The systems are customer-specifically manufactured and therefore detailed technical data are only available on request. You are most welcome to contact our personnel of sales or engineering department!
